the scarred cow

The scarred cow represents our lives. There's not one of us that doesn't carry the heavy weight at some point. All of us have scars, whether physical or emotional. The cow is strong carrying the weight, persevering through the storms. I thought of the cycle of life as I created this cow, representing the way we are. We are strong. Stay strong. Persevere through the storms of life. become beautiful everyday by turning your wounds into scars...a reminder, but not a hindrance on the path to the future. Scars come from wound repair. We have scars, but let's not forget the ultimate scar that came from Jesus' wounds on the cross. "By his wounds, we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) Live like you're healed and embrace his repair.
